Privacy Policy

BeesOnHoliday is built to need as little of your information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. In plain English: we don’t want your data, and we’ve designed the product so we rarely touch it.

The short version

• We don’t require an account, so we don’t store names, emails, or passwords to use the checklist.
• Your checklists are saved against a random code, not your identity.
• We don’t sell your data — to anyone, ever.

Information we collect

Checklist data

When you create a checklist and save it, the items you add are stored and linked to the random save code we generate. Anyone with that code can view the list, so keep it to yourself (or share it on purpose).

To keep things tidy, a saved checklist is automatically deleted if it hasn’t been opened for 6 months. Opening it with its code resets the clock.

If you contact us

When you email us or use the contact form, we keep your message and email address so we can reply. We don’t add you to any marketing list.

Anonymous usage data

We may collect aggregate, non-identifying statistics (such as which templates are popular) to improve the product, using Google Analytics. This data can’t be traced back to you, and Google Analytics only loads if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage to remember your preferences and keep the app working. If you accept the cookie banner, we also set an analytics cookie (Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and you can decline analytics cookies at any time from the banner.

How we keep data safe

Data is stored with reputable infrastructure providers and transmitted over encrypted connections. Because we collect so little, there’s very little that could ever be exposed.

Your choices

You can delete a saved checklist at any time using its code. If you’ve emailed us and want your message removed, just ask and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
